About Product Overview

This John Deere broadcast spreader carries a 130-pound poly hopper, giving you enough capacity to cover a full-size yard without repeated refills. The broadcast push design throws material up to 12 feet wide, so fertilizer, seed, or ice melt goes down faster and with fewer passes than a drop spreader.

The poly hopper won't rust or corrode, which matters since this unit is built to handle fertilizer, seed, and ice melt — three materials that eat through metal over a season or two. Large 13-inch pneumatic tires roll easily over lawns, gravel, and uneven ground, making the push effort manageable even at full capacity. It ships boxed and requires assembly.
