About Product Overview

A box beam gives this level four flat, true edges, so you can set it on a stud, pipe, or ledger and read level or plumb from whatever side you're standing on. Johnson built this one from aluminum at 24 inches, with three vials rated to 0.5 mm/m accuracy for level, plumb, and 45-degree checks.

The magnetic edges are the real time-saver on jobs with steel framing, ductwork, or handrail work - set it against the metal and it holds itself in place while you mark or adjust, freeing up both hands. At 2.51 lbs it's light enough to carry on a belt or toolbox tray without feeling like dead weight, and the orange finish keeps it easy to spot on a cluttered site.
