About Product Overview

Black Beauty Heat & Drought from Jonathan Green is built for lawns that take a beating from summer sun and dry spells. This 7-pound bag uses a Fescue/Texas Bluegrass blend bred to keep its color and density when other grass seed gives up during heat waves or water restrictions.

It works equally well in sunny stretches and shaded corners, which makes it a solid pick for yards with mixed exposure. Use it to start a new lawn from bare soil or to overseed thin, patchy areas and thicken up what's already growing. One 7-pound bag is sized for a medium lawn between 4,000 and 9,999 square feet, and it's suited to all regions and all planting seasons.
