About Product Overview

Jonathan Green's Veri-Green Crabgrass Preventer does double duty: it feeds your lawn with a 20-0-3 fertilizer blend while stopping crabgrass before it takes hold. Because it works as both a pre-emergent and post-emergent, it tackles crabgrass that's already sprouting along with seeds waiting to germinate, making it a solid choice for lawns with a history of crabgrass trouble.

Apply this dry granule product in early spring with a walk-behind spreader, following the settings on the bag - no watering in required. For lawns with persistent crabgrass, a second application in early summer helps finish the job. The 15,000 sq ft bag covers large properties in one pass, and it's labeled safe for Bermuda grass as well as other common grass types. Note that you'll need to hold off on seeding for four months after applying, since the crabgrass preventer works against germinating seed of all kinds.
