About Product Overview

Jonathan Green's Veri-Green Seeding and Sodding lawn food is built for one job: getting new grass established. The 12-18-8 analysis leans heavy on phosphorus, which is what young roots need to take hold, whether you're seeding a bare patch or laying fresh sod. It's a dry granule product, water soluble once it hits the soil and gets watered in, and works across all grass types rather than being limited to a specific variety.

This 45 lb bag covers up to 15,000 square feet, so it's sized for larger lawns rather than small touch-up jobs. It's rated for multi-season and multi-region use, giving some flexibility on timing depending on your climate and when you're seeding or sodding.
