About Product Overview

Knauf's Eco Touch R21 batts are sized for standard 2x6 exterior wall framing, giving you a code-friendly R-value without having to double up material or fuss with rigid foam add-ons. The kraft facing works as a vapor retarder, which matters in exterior walls where moisture moving through the wall cavity can lead to condensation problems over time.

Each package holds 7 batts covering 67.81 square feet total, so you can figure out how many packages a room needs before you head to the register. The batts are formaldehyde-free, which is worth knowing if you're insulating a home where indoor air quality is a priority, and the product carries Energy Star certification. Made in the USA. Good fit for new construction, room additions, or wall cavities being opened up for a remodel.
