About Product Overview

Kreg built the Automaxx clamping mechanism into this 6" clamp so it adjusts to your workpiece automatically, no ratcheting or dial-turning required. Squeeze the handle and the jaw self-adjusts to match the thickness of what you're clamping, then locks in with up to 450 lbs of clamping force. That's a real advantage for pocket-hole joinery and general wood assembly, where getting even, consistent pressure across different material thicknesses usually means fumbling with the adjustment before you can even start clamping.

With a 6" throat depth and 5" clamping capacity, it's sized for face frames, cabinet parts, shelving, and other mid-size project pieces where you need the clamp to reach in and hold steady while glue sets or screws go in.
