About Product Overview

The Leviton EV480 is a Level 2 charging station built for serious daily use, delivering 240V and 48 amps to charge electric vehicles far faster than a standard outlet. That output puts it among the higher-capacity home and light-commercial chargers, making it a good match for EVs with larger batteries or households that need quick turnaround between charges.

An 18-foot cable gives you the reach to charge vehicles parked at odd angles or in tight driveways, and the wall-mount design works indoors or out, so it fits a garage, carport, or exterior wall without extra housing. The integrated RFID reader adds access control, which is handy for shared parking, multi-unit properties, or any setup where you want to manage who can charge. Being SAE J1772 compliant means it's built to the standard connector used by virtually all EVs on the road.
