About Product Overview

This Leviton AFCI outlet detects the erratic electrical arcing that can start a fire inside a wall before it ever gets going, then shuts the circuit down. It's built for the rooms where electrical codes call for arc-fault protection - bedrooms, living areas, and similar spaces - and installs like a standard receptacle.
