The Little Giant Direct Drive Pond Pump moves up to 170 gallons per hour, making it a good fit for small water features, fountains, or tabletop displays rather than large ponds. Its direct drive design is self-priming, so it starts moving water on its own without extra setup once submerged. The aluminum housing resists corrosion, which matters for a pump that lives in water full-time, and the switchless design keeps things simple - plug it in and it runs.
With a maximum head of 7 feet, this pump has enough lift to feed a modest spitter or small waterfall. It's built for continuous submerged use in water temperatures between 33 and 120 degrees, and it carries UL compliance along with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
