It's direct drive and self-priming, so it starts working as soon as it's submerged and doesn't need manual bleeding to clear air from the line.
The thermoplastic housing resists corrosion, which matters for anything running continuously in water, and the switchless design keeps wiring simple with just a manual on/off. At 1/40 horsepower and 0.8 amps, it's an efficient runner for smaller setups where you don't need heavy flow, just dependable movement. Output drops to 120 GPH at 10 feet of head, with a maximum head of 15 feet, so it's best matched to shorter runs and modest elevation changes.
