About Product Overview

Lodge built this 6-quart enameled cast iron Dutch oven for the kind of cooking that takes time - braises, stews, chilis, and roasts that need slow, even heat and a lid that holds moisture in. Cast iron heats gradually and holds onto that heat, so once a pot roast gets going, it keeps a steady simmer with less babysitting.
