About Product Overview

These 1" nail guards from Madison Electric protect electrical wiring run through studs and joists from drywall screws and nails that could otherwise pierce the cable. Made from steel and part of the Smart Shield line, each plate covers the drilled hole to shield wiring behind walls and framing on any wiring job that calls for nail protection at code-required points.

This box of 100 gives electricians and contractors enough on hand to cover a full job without running short, and the UL, CSA, and ETL listings mean they meet the standards inspectors look for.
