The Makita XWT08Z pairs a brushless motor with 740 lb-ft of torque and 2200 impacts per minute, giving it the muscle for lug nuts, structural bolts, and other fastening jobs that would wear out a lesser impact wrench. The 1/2" square drive with friction ring keeps sockets locked in place through the heaviest impacts, and variable speed control with forward/reverse lets you dial in the right amount of force instead of just mashing the trigger.
At 9" long and 7.9 lbs, it's built to work in tight engine bays and undercarriage spots as easily as on a job site. A built-in LED lights up dark work areas, and the brushless motor design means less heat and more runtime per charge compared to brushed motors. This is a tool-only unit, so you'll need an 18V LXT battery and charger if you don't already have one in the Makita lineup.
