About Product Overview

The Makita LXT BL1850B packs 5.0Ah of lithium-ion capacity into the 18V slide-style form factor that runs the entire Makita LXT tool lineup, from drills and impact drivers to saws and grinders. That extra capacity means more work between charges, whether you're framing all day or running a crew off one set of batteries.

Star Protection Compatibility lets this battery communicate with compatible Makita tools to guard against overloading, overdischarging, and overheating, protecting both the battery and the tool it's powering. The built-in charging indicator light shows status at a glance, and the smart charging system works with compatible chargers to get you back to work in about 45 minutes. It's rated to operate down to -4°F, so cold-weather jobsites aren't a dealbreaker.
