About Product Overview

This 5" random orbit sander runs on Makita's 18V LXT lithium-ion platform, giving you cordless freedom for sanding jobs without dragging a cord or hose across the shop or job site. A variable speed dial lets you dial in up to 11,000 OPM, while the 1/8" orbit diameter keeps material removal controlled for finish work on wood, drywall, and paint prep alike.

The hook-and-loop base with 8 pad holes pairs with dust collection to pull debris away from your work, keeping the surface visible and cleanup to a minimum. It's built for pros who already run Makita LXT batteries and want another tool that shares the same power source. Sold as tool only, so battery and charger are purchased separately.
