About Product Overview

The XSH06Z runs on Makita's 18V X2 LXT system, pairing two 18V batteries for 36V of cordless power without giving up the cutting performance of a corded saw. The brushless motor spins the 7-1/4" blade up to 6000 RPM, giving it enough speed to handle framing, decking, and general jobsite cutting where dragging a cord isn't practical.

Cutting capacity holds up at 2-5/8" at 90 degrees and 1-13/16" at 45 degrees, with a bevel range up to 56 degrees for angled cuts. An electric brake stops the blade quickly after the trigger's released, adding a layer of control on a saw this size. This is the tool-only version, so it's built for crews and users who already have Makita 18V LXT batteries and a charger on hand.
