The Makita XSR01PT trades the barrel-grip design for a rear handle layout, giving framers and deck builders the two-handed control and balance they're used to from corded saws-minus the cord. A brushless motor spins the 7-1/4" blade up to 5100 RPM, delivering the kind of sustained power needed for repetitive framing cuts, sheathing, and deck work without bogging down.
Cutting capacity holds up at 2-9/16" at 90 degrees and 1-3/4" at 45 degrees, with a 53-degree bevel range for angled work. A keyless blade change system and spindle lock make blade swaps fast, and the electric brake stops the blade quickly once you release the trigger. This kit includes two 5.0Ah batteries and a charger, so you're not stuck waiting on a single pack to top off mid-job.
