About Product Overview

Metabo HPT built this 7-1/4" circular saw around a 15-amp motor that spins the blade up to 6000 RPM, giving it enough muscle for framing, sheet goods, and general job site cutting without bogging down. The 55-degree bevel capacity covers most angled cuts you'll run into, and at 90 degrees it'll cut through material up to 2-7/16" deep, or 1-7/8" at 45 degrees for beveled work.

At 9.5 lbs, it's light enough to handle for a full day of cuts, and the spindle lock makes blade changes straightforward when it's time to swap out a dull or specialty blade. The 5/8" arbor is a common size, so blade options are easy to find. Backed by a 5-year limited parts and labor warranty, this is a saw meant to earn its keep in a contractor's toolbox or a homeowner's garage handling bigger projects.
