About Product Overview

The Metabo HPT NT65M2SM handles finish carpentry where 16-gauge nails need to sit clean and hold tight—baseboard, crown molding, door casing, and trim work where a brad gun is too light and a framing nailer is overkill.

Top-loading design lets you reload fast without breaking your stance on a ladder, and the 100-nail magazine capacity means fewer stops mid-run. It drives straight finish nails from 1" up to 2-1/2", giving you range for thin trim or thicker stock in the same tool. Adhesive collation keeps the nail strip feeding smoothly through the magazine. Runs on standard shop air between 70 and 120 PSI, so it works with most compressors already in the truck. Backed by a 5-year limited parts and labor warranty, and sold as a kit for job-ready setup out of the box.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Metabo Hpt. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
