The lithium-ion batteries hold a 2 amp-hour charge, giving you solid runtime for everyday drilling, driving, and cutting tasks without the memory-effect drain-off older battery chemistries suffer from. The included charger brings a battery back to full in about 90 minutes, so downtime between charges stays short, and a built-in indicator light lets you see charge status at a glance instead of guessing.
