About Product Overview

This Metabo HPT 5" Random Orbit Sander pairs a 2.8-amp motor with a tight 7/64" orbit diameter, giving you fine, swirl-free results on wood, metal, or painted surfaces without gouging the material. Variable speed control up to 13,000 OPM lets you dial in the right pace for the job, whether you're stripping finish or doing final smoothing before a coat of paint.

The hook-and-loop base with 8 pad holes makes sandpaper changes quick, and the built-in dust collection keeps the mess contained as you work. A lock-on switch means you can run continuous passes without fighting the trigger. At 3.1 lbs, it's light enough for overhead or extended use, and it's ETL and UL listed with a 5-year warranty backing it up. This is a tool-only purchase - no case included.
