About Product Overview

This 1-1/2" self-feed bit from Milwaukee is built for boring clean, fast holes through joists, studs, and framing lumber - the kind of work where a spade bit or hole saw just bogs down. The self-feed design uses a threaded tip to pull the bit through wood without you having to lean into the drill, which saves your arms on long runs of holes for wiring or plumbing.

Heat-treated steel construction holds up to repeated use in rough framing conditions, and the coated finish helps resist buildup from pitch and resin. The 7/16" hex shank locks into impact-rated chucks and drivers for a secure, no-slip fit, and won't spin out under heavy torque. At 6" overall length with a 3/4" flute, it's sized to punch through standard dimensional lumber in one pass.
