About Product Overview

Milwaukee's 2-1/4" self-feed bit is built for the job every electrician and plumber knows well: boring clean holes through studs and joists for wire and pipe runs. The heat-treated steel construction stands up to repeated hits in framing lumber, and the coated finish helps the bit resist buildup and corrosion over long stretches of use.

The self-feed screw point pulls the bit through the material instead of forcing you to lean into it, so you get consistent feed rate and less bit walking on start. A 7/16" hex shank fits standard high-torque drill chucks and holds up to the twisting force these bits generate, while the 6" overall length gives you reach through doubled studs and thicker framing members. This is a single bit, not a set - pick it up when you need the 2-1/4" size specifically for larger conduit, PVC, or cable runs.
