About Product Overview

The BIG HAWG+CT is Milwaukee's carbide-tipped hole saw built for jobs that chew up ordinary blades: nail-embedded wood, abrasive board, and other material that would strip a standard bi-metal tooth. The 3-tooth carbide-tipped design holds an edge through cuts that would otherwise mean stopping to clear debris or swap out a saw.

At 5-1/4 in. diameter with a 2.44 in. depth, this saw handles larger openings for fixtures, conduit, and plumbing runs in one pass. It runs on Milwaukee's Quick-Change system, so it drops onto a compatible arbor without extra tools - just note that the arbor itself is sold separately and needs a 5/8 in.-18 thread. The 7/16 in. shank diameter rounds out the fit specs for anyone matching this against existing arbors or adapters.
