About Product Overview

The Milwaukee BIG HAWG+CT is built for the jobs that chew through standard hole saws fast - nail-embedded wood, abrasive materials, and anything else that would strip a bi-metal blade down to nothing. The carbide-tipped teeth hold an edge where regular hole saws fold, which means fewer blade changes and fewer wasted saws on demo and remodel work where you don't know what's hiding in the material.

This 6-1/4 in. hole saw uses Milwaukee's Quick-Change System, so swapping it out on the job doesn't slow you down. It runs on arbors with a 5/8 in.-18 thread, though the arbor itself is sold separately. At 2.44 in. long with a 2.34 in. cutting depth, it's sized for real wall and framing penetrations, not just thin stock.

Good fit for electricians, plumbers, and remodelers cutting through material that's likely to have fasteners buried in it - the carbide tips are the whole point here, letting you push through without babying the cut.
