About Product Overview

Running a soldering iron off a cordless M12 battery means no more hunting for an outlet near the job, and no waiting around for a butane torch to warm up. The Milwaukee 2488-20 uses a nickel-plated copper tip that heats fast and holds steady output, drawing 16 watts at 12 volts to get through plumbing joints, electrical connections, and general repair work without dragging a cord across the shop or job site.

Flame control is adjustable, so you can dial the heat up for heavier solder joints or back it off for delicate work, and the continuous flame lock frees up your hand instead of making you hold a trigger the whole time. The tip is interchangeable and one is included, so you're ready to work out of the box, though solder and a carrying case are sold separately.
