The M12 FUEL SURGE swaps out the usual hammer-and-anvil impact mechanism for a hydraulic drive, which means it delivers power without the sharp metal-on-metal bang most impact drivers are known for. That hydraulic action still produces 3,400 impacts per minute and 450 in-lbs of torque, but it's quieter on the job and gentler on fasteners, making it a good match for finish work, cabinetry, and anywhere stripped screws or split trim are a concern.

Milwaukee built this one brushless for efficiency and runtime, and at just 2.4 lbs and 5.2 inches long, it's compact enough to work in tight spots without wearing out your wrist over a long day. The kit comes with two 2.0 Ah batteries, a charger, and a case, so it's ready to go out of the box. An LED light helps you see the fastener in dim cabinets, ceilings, or crawl spaces.
