About Product Overview

Milwaukee's Shockwave Impact step drill bit is built for the abuse impact drivers put on a bit that's supposed to hold a clean, stepped hole. It's high speed steel with a Titanium Aluminum Nitride finish, so it resists heat buildup and wear better than a standard uncoated bit — which matters most on step bits since they're cutting a range of diameters through sheet metal, conduit, and electrical boxes in a single pass.

The quick-change 1/4" hex shank drops straight into any impact driver or drill with a hex chuck, no adapter needed, and it steps from 3/16" up to 7/8" so you can cover a run of common hole sizes with one bit instead of swapping between multiple twist bits. That's a real time-saver for electricians, HVAC techs, and anyone running conduit or drilling enclosures. Made in the USA, sold individually in clamshell packaging.
