About Product Overview

The Buddy Portable Heater from Mr. Heater runs on propane and puts out 9,000 BTU of radiant heat, enough to take the chill off a space up to 225 square feet. It's built for indoor use as a supplemental heat source, whether that's a workshop, garage, or cabin that needs a quick warm-up without running new gas lines or electrical circuits.

An automatic delay shutoff is built in for added safety, and the unit carries CSA listing. The housing is molded plastic, keeping the weight down to under 9 pounds so it's easy to move from room to room or job to job. There's no thermostat or built-in timer, so it runs on manual control, and it doesn't have wheels, which fits its compact, carry-anywhere design.
