About Product Overview

A flat bastard-cut file from Nicholson, built for fast, rough stock removal on metal before you switch to a finer cut for finishing. The 10" length gives you good leverage and control for shaping, deburring, and smoothing edges on steel, brass, and other workable metals. High carbon steel construction holds an edge through repeated use, and the flat profile handles both wide surfaces and edges. Sold without a handle, so you can fit it with whatever grip you prefer.
