About Product Overview

Old Masters Gel Stain goes on thick and controlled, so it grips vertical surfaces and dense grain without dripping or streaking the way thin oil stains can. This Dark Walnut shade is a semi-transparent, oil-based alkyd formula that you wipe or brush on with a cloth, rag, or brush, giving you time to work the color evenly into the wood before it sets. It's built for indoor and outdoor wood - furniture, doors, trim, cabinets - and recoats in about 8 hours. One quart covers roughly 250-300 square feet.
