About Product Overview

This Flotec shallow well jet pump, built by Pentair, is a 1/2 HP workhorse for pulling water from wells up to 25 feet deep - shallow wells, cisterns, or similar above-ground water sources. The cast iron housing stands up to the wear and corrosion that eventually kills lesser pumps, and the self-priming design means you're not fighting the system every time it loses prime after a power blip or dry spell.

A built-in pressure switch cycles the pump automatically, so it's ready to pair with a pressure tank for home water supply, or run on its own for irrigation and sprinkler duty. Rated for up to 300 gallons of discharge flow, it covers typical household and yard watering needs without oversizing the job. Runs on 115/230V and draws 15 amps, with CSA compliance backing it up.
