This Prime-Line replacement spring is built from steel with a 32-inch rest length and a left wind, sized to match the torsion bar setup on many residential garage door systems.
It's rated for a 150-pound capacity and colored green, which is the standard Prime-Line uses to mark capacity at a glance so you can pair it correctly with the door's other spring when replacing a matched set. At 2 inches in diameter, it's a standard-size coil meant to drop into an existing torsion shaft assembly. Torsion springs hold serious tension once wound, so installation calls for the right winding bars and a careful, methodical approach rather than guesswork.
