About Product Overview

The blade step on this Razor-Back round point shovel gives you a flat spot to drive the blade with your boot, so you're not relying on arm strength alone when the ground fights back. That matters with a round-point design like this one, built for breaking new ground, digging planting holes, or cutting through compacted soil and clay that a flat spade won't touch.

The steel blade carries a coated finish to help it shed dirt and resist rust, and it's shaped with a 5.88-inch maximum depth so you can move a real amount of material per scoop. The 30-inch wood handle ends in a D-grip, which gives you a tighter, more controlled hold than a straight handle - useful for twisting the blade to break roots or lever out rocks. At 41.5 inches overall and 4.3 pounds, it's substantial enough for serious digging without being a chore to swing all day.
