About Product Overview

Ready Seal's Burnt Hickory stain is built for outdoor wood that takes a beating from sun and weather — decks, fences, siding, and other exposed surfaces that need color and protection in one step. It's an oil-based, penetrating formula with a built-in sealer, so you're not stain today and sealer tomorrow. The semi-transparent finish lets the wood grain show through while laying down a flat, even color.

This is the Goof Proof line, meaning it's formulated to go on evenly without the lap marks and blotching that trip up DIY stain jobs. A 5-gallon container covers up to 625 square feet, and it's flexible enough to apply with a brush, roller, paint pad, or sprayer depending on the job. Made in the USA.
