About Product Overview

Ready Seal's Natural Cedar stain and sealer combines both steps into one application, which is the whole point of their "Goof Proof" line - no separate sealer coat, no lap marks to worry about, no strict recoat window to hit. This 5-gallon container covers up to 625 square feet, making it a practical choice for decks, fences, and other outdoor wood surfaces that need real coverage rather than a small touch-up can.

It's an oil-based, semi-transparent stain that lets the wood grain show through while adding UV protection to slow down sun damage and graying. The flat sheen keeps things looking natural rather than glossy, and it can be applied by brush, roller, paint pad, or sprayer depending on the size of the job and the tools on hand. Recoating is possible after just one hour, which speeds up multi-coat projects. This is not a tintable product, so what's in the can is the Natural Cedar color you'll get.
