About Product Overview

Ready Seal Redwood is a stain and sealer in one, which means no separate sealing step and no waiting around between coats before the wood is protected. It's an oil-based, semi-transparent formula built under the brand's Goof Proof line, designed to soak into the wood rather than sit on top like a film-forming finish - so it won't peel or blister the way some stains do over time.

This 5-gallon container covers up to 625 square feet, making it a practical choice for decks, fences, siding, and other outdoor wood surfaces where you need real coverage without buying multiple cans. It goes on with a brush, roller, paint pad, or sprayer, so you can match the application method to the job size. The UV-resistant formula helps the Redwood color hold up against sun exposure, and with only a 1-hour wait before recoating, you can move through a project fast. Flat sheen keeps the look natural rather than glossy.
