The Reliance Controls PBN-50 is a power inlet box built for connecting a portable generator to your home's electrical system during an outage. It mounts to the outside of your house and gives you a weatherproof connection point, so you're not running extension cords through a window or door every time the power goes out. Rated for 50 amps at 120/240 volts, it handles a single circuit connection and pairs with a transfer switch to feed backup power into your panel safely.
Built for outdoor use and UL listed, this PB Series inlet box is a straightforward surface-mount install for anyone setting up a permanent generator hookup. Breakers are not included, so plan for that separately if your setup requires one.
