About Product Overview

A pre-charged vertical pressure tank built for private well systems, the Reliance PMD-14 gives your pump a break by storing pressurized water so it doesn't have to cycle on and off every time someone turns on a faucet. That reduces wear on the pump motor and helps smooth out water pressure through the house. The steel tank has an epoxy lining to resist corrosion from the inside out, and it's pre-charged at the factory so it's ready to plumb in without a separate air charging step.

The 14-gallon size fits well in tighter mechanical rooms, crawl spaces, or utility closets where a full-size tank won't fit. The 1-inch FPT female connection is standard for most residential well setups, and the tank is rated up to 120°F, which covers typical well water temperatures. Made in the USA.
