About Product Overview

This is Rust-Oleum's EpoxyShield garage floor coating kit, a two-part amine cured epoxy that goes down over bare or previously painted concrete and masonry to give garage floors a tough, gray, gloss finish. It's built specifically to stand up to what garage floors deal with daily: hot tires rolling in fresh off the road, spilled chemicals, and constant foot and vehicle traffic. No primer step is needed, which cuts a chunk of time out of the job, and cleanup is just soap and water while you're working with it.

One gallon covers roughly 250 square feet, enough for a single-car bay in most cases. Apply when temperatures run between 60 and 85 degrees, and plan for a full cure of about 3 days before you're back to normal use. This is an indoor product, not meant for UV-exposed surfaces or as a skid-resistant coating, so it's best suited to garages and similar covered concrete floors rather than open patios or driveways.
