About Product Overview

This is Rust-Oleum's EpoxyShield premium floor coating kit, a 2-part clear epoxy formula built to protect concrete floors that take a beating - garages, workshops, basements. The high gloss clear finish resists hot tire pickup, so parking a car right after a drive won't leave marks or lift the coating, and it's chemical resistant for standing up to oil, gas, and cleaning products that hit garage floors regularly.

One 90 oz kit covers 400-500 square feet, enough for a standard one or two-car garage. No primer needed, which saves a step and a day of work. Full cure takes 3 days, so plan around that before rolling vehicles or heavy equipment back onto the floor. Clean up is straightforward with mineral spirits. It's rated for indoor use on concrete and masonry surfaces, and at VOC level 75 it's a lower-odor formula compared to older epoxy coatings.
