About Product Overview

FibaTape cement board joint tape from Saint-Gobain ADFORS is built for taping seams on cement backer board before tiling floors, showers, or countertops. The self-adhesive fiberglass mesh sticks in place so you can run mud over it without holding tape and trowel at the same time, and the perforated design lets thinset key through for a stronger bond. Because it's alkali-resistant, it holds up against the cement-based mortars used on backer board without breaking down over time.
