About Product Overview

Schumacher built this 200-amp charger to do double duty as a battery charger and engine starter, which matters when a truck, tractor, or farm rig won't turn over and you need power fast. The automatic charging system reads the battery and adjusts output so you're not guessing at settings, and reverse polarity protection guards against a wrong hookup frying your electronics or the unit itself. It's part of Schumacher's Farm & Ranch line, built for the kind of daily abuse that comes with barns, shops, and equipment yards rather than a garage that sees a dead battery once a year. A 12-foot cord gives you room to work around the engine bay without repositioning the unit, and at just under 30 pounds it's a two-hand carry, not a wheel-it-out job.
