The Schumacher SL1612 packs 2000 amps into a handheld unit that starts a dead 12V battery without another vehicle in sight. Built under Schumacher's Rugged sub-brand, it runs on a lithium battery instead of lead-acid, so it stays compact at just 3.44 lbs and holds a charge in storage far longer than older jump starter designs. Reverse polarity protection guards against hookup mistakes, and the automatic delay shutoff cuts power once the job's done, protecting both the unit and your vehicle's electrical system.
Beyond jump-starting, it doubles as a power bank with two accessory outlets, useful for charging phones, tablets, or other 12V devices when you're away from an outlet.
