This is an 18-inch section of Selkirk's 6-inch Type A chimney pipe, built for venting wood stoves, fireplaces, and other solid-fuel appliances where a full stainless steel chimney system is required. Type A pipe is the double-wall, insulated class rated for the high, sustained heat that solid-fuel venting produces, and Selkirk is one of the established names in this category.
Use it to extend an existing Class A chimney run, replace a damaged section, or build out a new installation to the height your setup needs. The stainless steel construction stands up to heat and the moisture and creosote byproducts that come with wood burning, and the pipe ships boxed for straightforward handling and storage until installation.
