About Product Overview

When a Class A chimney run climbs steep or needs extra lateral support above the roofline, this Selkirk Roof Brace Kit gives the pipe something solid to lean on. It's built for 6" diameter Type A chimney systems and adjusts to fit the pitch and height of the installation rather than forcing a fixed angle, which matters on roofs that aren't perfectly uniform.

Constructed of stainless steel, it's rated to handle the same serious heat the chimney itself sees - up to 1800°F continuous and 2100°F max - so it holds up under real operating conditions, not just fair-weather use. It's UL Listed and sized to support chimney runs up to 10 feet, making it a practical add-on for taller installations where wind load and pipe weight become a real concern. Comes packaged as a single boxed kit, one per package, ready to install alongside the rest of a Selkirk Type A venting system.
