About Product Overview

Every Class A chimney system needs a solid anchor point where the pipe passes through a ceiling, and that's exactly what this Selkirk Square Ceiling Support Box does. It holds 8-inch insulated Class A pipe securely in place while sealing the opening against heat transfer to surrounding framing and insulation, making it a required component for wood stoves, fireplace inserts, and other solid-fuel appliances venting through a ceiling and roof.

Built from stainless steel with a black finish, this support box is rated to handle sustained temperatures up to 1800°F and momentary spikes to 2100°F, and it's engineered to support chimney runs up to 50 feet. It's UL Listed for safety compliance and made in the USA, so installers and inspectors alike can trust it's built to code. Ships boxed, one per package.
