About Product Overview

Selkirk's Sure-Temp 6T-48 is a Type A insulated chimney pipe built for the real heat that wood stoves, fireplace inserts, and solid-fuel furnaces put out. The stainless steel construction and insulated wall are rated to handle temperatures up to 2100°F, which is the kind of margin you want in a chimney system rather than a vent pipe that's just barely adequate.

At 6 inches in diameter and 48 inches long, this section is sized for standard residential chimney runs and works alongside other Sure-Temp components to build out a complete venting system. It ships boxed and ready to install, whether you're running new chimney through a roof or replacing a damaged section in an existing stack. Because it's Type A rated, it's built for the higher heat loads that ordinary vent pipe isn't designed to take.
