About Product Overview

This SharkBite male adapter connects 1/2 in. PEX pipe to 1/2 in. male NPT threaded fittings, making it a go-to piece for hooking up valves, faucets, or water heaters during a repipe or repair. The barb end takes a crimp ring and PEX pipe, while the MNPT end threads straight into standard fittings. Built from lead-free poly alloy, it's rated for 160 psi and up to 200°F, and each bag gives you five adapters so you're covered for a full job or a few spares.
